Rose Day March 2025
Every year Zonta Clubs worldwide celebrate Zonta Rose Day. It is a special day to reflect on past achievements and honour individuals working towards gender equity. This year Zonta Club of Bradford’s Advocacy committee selected Bonnie Laposa who currently serves as children and teen coordinator for the Bradford Library. Bonnie has a long history of giving back to her community both professionally and personally. In the past she has worked for Beacon Light, Children and Youth Services, and 21st Century Program. Bonnie and her husband Tom have also been foster parents to countless children who needed a safe place. Bonnie has donated her time as Girl Scout leader and helped with children’s theater camp at Bradford Little Theater. Bonnie thank you for always being so giving of your time to one of our most important resources in the community, our youth!

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY AND ZONTA ROSE DAY
The Zonta community marks 8 March as Zonta Rose Day, a time to reflect on past achievements and honor the current efforts of individuals working toward gender equity.
Each year on 8 March, the global community also celebrates International Women's Day, recognizing women for their achievements regardless of national, ethnic, linguistic, economic or political divisions.
